CDP purchased the existing office building at One City Road in October 2017 and when the current leases expire the site will be redeveloped to form a focal point in the First Street Regeneration Area, a re-energised gateway into Manchester.
Working with Manchester City Council and after consulting with the local community, a planning application for the scheme, comprised of 2 buildings of 205,000sf and 170,000 net lettable office space linked by a unique winter garden atrium and set in extensive new public realm, was submitted in October 2020.
