19th September 2016

CDP, the development arm of Marshall Construction Group, has completed a 524,000 sqft distribution centre in Wakefield today.

Pre-let to Poundworld, the scheme is located on a prominent 30 acre site near Junction 31 of the M62, in a logistics hub with adjoining occupiers including Asda, DHL, HSBC, Royal Mail and TK Maxx.

It was forward sold to London Metric for over £39m prior to commencement on site.

'...the building is in fine shape and the project has been managed by both CDP and Marshalls with drive, enthusiasm and skill.  Many thanks to you and the respective teams and hopefully our paths will cross again soon'.  Richard Webb, Director, KnightWebb

'I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you, to you and the team for delivering a first rate product for ouselves and Poundworld on time.

Please pass my thanks also onto Chris, Andy and Martin who from my site visits have always seemed very much on top of their respective roles and fully committed to the project'.  Nick Heath, Development Manager, London Metric Property plc
